Pionear Recruiting Shows Support at Breast Cancer Cure Benefit to Help Stop the Fight

Charlotte, N.C., October 29, 2015 – The month of October, also known as, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, increases awareness of the disease. Susan G. Koman, the world’s largest breast cancer organization, puts on fundraisers, 5K’s, and provides face-to-face time to help with awareness, support the women in need, and celebrate their inner strength and beauty. According to the Susan G. Koman organization, “Since its founding in 1982, Komen has funded more than $800 million in research and provided more than $1.6 billion in funding to screening, education, treatment and psychosocial support programs serving millions of people in more than 30 countries worldwide”.

Pionear Recruiting, a recruiting and staffing firm, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, showed their support to fight against Breast Cancer by attending a local event called, Breast Cancer Cure Benefit Party, at Napa on Providence on October 14^th, 2015. Pionear Recruiting states, “We loved being able to attend the Breast Cancer Cure Party. It is an awesome feeling to give back and support such a great cause that affects so many women.” The event included live music from local bands, a raffle, and an enjoyable meal. Proceeds from the event benefitted Susan G. Koman for Komen Charlotte. “Komen Charlotte is the local source for funding breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in Charlotte region.  Through its 2013-2014 community grants, Komen Charlotte is investing $906,000 in education, diagnosis, treatment support programs provided by 17 local organizations that serve uninsured or underinsured residents in our service area. Since it was founded in 1997, Komen Charlotte has invested more than $13 million in local breast health agencies and organizations.”
