Jen Pavich – #VeryImportantPionear

In an initiative to show our unrelenting appreciation to our contractors, we are happy to begin showcasing our employees that go above and beyond, starting with Jen Pavich! Jen Pavich is one of our many amazing employees and we are happy to highlight her as a #VeryImportantPionear.

Matthew from our National Accounts team said the following about this Pionear, “Jennifer was added as a new Money Coach for our Austin market at the end of 2019 and she has been a fantastic asset to the program. Great work ethic and contributes hugely to her café. We look forward to our continued partnership!”

Jen answered these questions for us:

Where do you get your work ethic?

I’m really passionate about coaching so I think my work ethic comes from that. I really love helping people gain the self-awareness, confidence and tools they need to reach for their dreams!

What do you like most about working for Pionear?

I enjoy money coaching and being part of Capital One’s money coaching team. Every time I talk with Matthew from Pionear, I’m impressed by his commitment to looking after employees and advocating for us.

What is one thing that you enjoy to do outside of work?

I’m very invested in community and social justice work and I’m currently the board co-chair of the YWCA of Greater Austin. (note: different from YMCA)

How do you take your coffee?

Dark, strong, sweet and creamy!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A writer and I still enjoy writing, it’s a big part of what I do!

If you were ice-cream – what flavor would you be and why?

Cinnamon walnut – spicy and a little nutty
