CHARLOTTE, NC—A Big Heart Foundation, organizers of Charlotte’s Toys for Tots Golf Tournament (toysfortotsgolf.org), is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to their board. Jonathan Gruber, Managing Partner and CFO of Pionear Recruiting, is joining A Big Heart Foundation and will be working on the board to plan and orchestrate the Toys for Tots Golf Tournament and other charity events throughout his two year term.
Gruber handles the core financial and technical aspects of Pionear’s recruiting and staffing business. As a professional recruiter in Charlotte for more than 13 years, Gruber understands the needs of both the client and candidate. With a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance from Winthrop University, Gruber began working as a Financial Reporting Manager with Wells Fargo Capital Markets Group and a Recruiting Manager with Robert Half International prior to founding Pionear.
In 2001, Pionear Recruiting was founded as an alternative to recruiting and placement firms that focus more on filling positions than finding solutions. Based in Charlotte, Pionear Recruiting works with some of the world’s largest, most respected companies along the east coast from New York to Florida and throughout the Central time zone. Pionear Recruiting is a strong supporter of local organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the North Carolina Autism Society, Urban Ministries, Toys for Tots, LifeSpan and Bright Blessings.
A Big Heart Foundation, Inc. was founded in spring 2010 by Jack Burke, CEO of Burke Communications, a full-service Charlotte advertising agency experienced in branding and Internet marketing. The Foundation supports charitable endeavors in the Charlotte metropolitan area, including the Charlotte Toys For Tots Golf Tournament on September 26, 2011 at Cedarwood Country Club.
